I feel frustated everytime i come up with an invent , it is already invented?how do i avoid this?

it is so very frustating everytime i think of a very bright idea for an invention ! BAM! its already invented , even the complex ones!!

so what do you think i need to in order to come up with ne with new ideas that arent marketed yet?

its usually the most simple of ideas that make the most money, like youtube or text messages and such...so maybe you should brainstorm a load of ideas and seperate things into categories..for example domestic (cleaning products, new ideas that will help domestic problems), entertainment (new toys or games), health and beauty..etc. Then you can think of the basic outlines of different ideas, then do a bit of research, then underline the ideas that have not already been used..and then you can develop your ideas from there. You need to have a good long think about what people need, or what people think they might need, like for example people dont actually need shampoo..although it makes your hair smell nice, your hair only really needs water as the natural oils will help your hair to stay clean...BUT almost everyone including me still buys shampoo!

The best thing to do is to go to the US Patent and Trademark Office's website. They have a basic patent search function you can use.

If you input some search terms related to your invention, it should bring up other inventions in that category that have already been patented.

well, you can do patent searches, they can be costly, but if you are looking for something to overcome the world with the costs may be worth it to you. (i can honestly say i know how you feel, in grade 6, 15 years ago we had to invent things and my idea was stolen!!) Good luck with everything, i look forward to seeing your inventions :)

I would get the one i already thought of which "existed" then develop it into a BETTER idea! and make sure it isnt invented before you "waste" ur time.

The real money isn't in making something new; it's in improving something old. Pick one of those already-nabbed inventions, and make it better.
