Question:

I feel kinda... betrayed.?

About 2 weeks ago I asked my friend if he would like to come to a sporting final. He said 'no' due to money issues, yet recently, his new-ish friend has decided to ask him too. But she offered for him to go for free and weith free travel to this sporting final. He said yes to her, and now I'm feeling betrayed because of it, and I would like to know why and what to do. I've confronted my friend about it but he says 'only because it's free'. That isn't my point though to him, my point is that she offers him way better sport-related things than i do, and because of that he says yes to her and no to me, and I feel betrayed because of it. Are there any other reasons as to why I could be feeling betrayed and what I could say to my friend?

Thanks for your time.

  1. There is no reason to feel betrayed. He was honest and said he didn't have the money to go. She offered for him to go with her for free and he went. He is just being honest with you so listen to him and stop being to needy and clingy. The reason you are feeling betrayed is because you are jealous. Smile and be nice or he will not like you. No complaining about this to anyone either.

  2. maybe because he didn't want to go with you so he's looking for someone else ..i'm sorry :(  don't mean to hurt you

  3. The fact to face is that your so called friend is a user. There are many good people out there who would love to me your friend. He sounds like he has a lot of growing up to do and acquire some good values.  Time for you to move on and focus on your relations growth. All the best to you.
