  1. You're playing to much and going through the period where it's just tiring. You have to love the game to play the game. I went through the same thing and so over the summer I played once everyday compared to 3-4 times a day. Make sure that it's what you truly want. If it's important then  learn to have fun play in a game with friends and just have fun. Soccer is not meant to make you unhappy.

    Thanks.

  2. that's weird we call it h**l week at my school too.  anyways you might think your playing bad because I'm guessing in spring you play club right?  in club you probably are playing great because everyone is your age.  you might be better than most of those people your age or you might play better when you play with people your age.  when you go to high school however you have upper class-men to deal with.  most of the juniors and seniors at my school are pretty good so i don't feel like an amazing player when i with them.  you might be comparing yourself to all of the upper class-men.  I'm sure everything is in your head.  if you know you can do better just do better. don't focus on it too much.  think better and do better.  its all about confidence and attitude.  keep practicing because not playing is how you get worse.  just have a good time don't think about it too much.  good luck.

  3. maybe the other players are just better this time and you're not used to playing with that kind of skill.

  4. its probably that other people are try to get better soon over the summer and don't over the winter, to help all you should do is juggle, dribble with your head up, and once you get the ball look for a quick pass, unless you're a forward. passing is the thing that will make you an outstanding player

  5. I think its just the pressure. If you can just calm down a little im sure things would go well

  6. Don't try so hard. Just let ur ability show.  If u try too hard u will mess up. Don't worry i have h**l week before school also and during the season I play much better in games cause that is wut i am focused on, during practice i am focused on each and every drill we do. So just play don't think so much.

  7. I had the same problem...I'm a goalie but my form vanished during winters....i couldn't figure out why....I tried extra hard & gave my best, but I failed badly during winters....

Later, I figured out that it was due to the pressure of performing better....During winters, many of my friends & girls come to see the soccer try-outs (just to pass their time)....I wanted everyone one to see what a great goalie I was....That extra pressure & effort made me nervous.....

I tried meditating & it worked a bit....Now I just concentrate on the game & ignore the booing that I get from the opposition....

Don't try extra hard, just be relaxed!!!
