I feel like I'm losing my sister?

Question

Okay, I'm 13 and my sister is 16, nearly 17, and she got a new boyfriend about 6 or 7 months ago. Before she had a boyfriend, we used to be quite close and I felt I could talk to her about anything. But now things have changed.

She's with her boyfriend every - single - day. He comes round every night, and now I barley get to see her. It's not like I'm jealous, cause I love it that she's got a boyfriend and they're inlove, and I like her boyfriend. We get along fine. I'm just starting to get upset, because, sometimes I even think she's forgotten about me.

It's not that I wish they weren't together, I just wishshe could sometimes just find time to spend with her family sometimes. Is that too much to ask?

My sister is probably the most important person in my whole life, and I really don't want that to change.

Could anybody please give my some advice, or just tal to me about it please?

i know how much this can hurt, but you will just have to wait it out, tell her if you want, but it might cause a problem. the excitement of the boyfriend will calm down at some point and she will realize how much she misses you. if they break up at some point she will need you. If it doesn't get better then just tel her in a very nice way that you just miss her a lot.

tell her how much she means to you, and ho wit hurts that you dont get to spend anytime with her . schedule a day for you two to go to the mall or something, no boyfriends allowed . good luck!

Your sister is growing up and leaning about relationships at this time.  Believe it or not someday you're going to be there as well.  However if you get time at night to talk to her tell her how you feel and ask her if she can take some time out from boyfriend and spend with you.

Talk to your sister and let her know how you feel. Explain your feelings and tell her you miss her.
