When I'm in a classroom I get the urge to look around and stare at people...

I notice I'm the only one doing this? Everybody else is looking forward?

Why?

  1. Everyone else either wants to learn and get educated, or are secretly robots.

(The latter seems the most likely).

  2. Try to ask this question for your self? then u get the answer

  3. because they are paying attention to the teacher. and when you are not looking at them, they are looking at you. nothing bizarre about that.

  4. I used to do that too. Until I realized I was doing it. Then I stopped lol.

I think it just means you're either ADHD or just very attentive. It's people like you who notice the goofs in movies. It's also people like you who become writers because of your attention to detail.

  5. Because nobody looks behind them when the dude in front of them is looking back at them.  It basic "how to avoid 'made you look' scenarios 101".

  6. Because you're not a zombie? Hey you're staring at me right now!

  7. Haha, I do the same thing, everywhere! I'm scared I'm gonna get lynched one day!

It's not that I'm actually staring, I just tend to drift off into a daydream-like stance and I know I'm staring but can't actually move! Glad to know I'm not alone!

I don't have ADHD!!! I think I just have a very short attention span, when I was younger I thought it may have been autism. But it's not...

  8. Drugs are bad, paranoid perhaps.

  9. Well, your avatar is staring at me right now.

    Um...

    I'm starting to feel uncomfortable...?

    *Backs away slowly*

Anyway.  I don't know.  I had the same habit in school, actually.  Not staring per se, but I made lots of random glances around the room.

  10. Do you mean why is everyone else looking forward? Or why do you get the urge to stare at your classmates?

They're looking forward because they're trying to learn something from the class. You're looking at them because you're bored. I would guess. I don't really know what goes through your mind during class.
