I feel like I'm the only sister in our family now what do I do?

I'm 12 and my sister just went to college yesterday and I feel really lonely I have 2 brothers and I feel like I'm the only sister now. I really miss my older sister now what do I do to not feel lonely anymore?

  3. just bond with you brothers... i have no sisters and 2 brothers... or just hang out with some girl friends...dont bond with them too much cuz then you'll start acting like a boy...thats what happend to me..

  4. Talk to her on the phone and I'm sure she would be glad to talk! You will get over it in like 2 months, it's a process!

  5. I know how difficult that is, I was the little sister left behind too. You just have hang out with your friends more. And spend time with them. Make sure you keep in touch with your sister. That may help a lot.  

  6. Call your sister to check in with her. Chances are, she is feeling lonely too being away from the family in college. You are not the only sister, the parameters of your relationships are just changing as you are all getting older. What it means to be a sister just looks different.

    Sometimes I wish I had less sisters so appreciate what U got. And she'll be ur sister 4ever, she'll stay in touch with U.

  8. I don't know if you'll find this helpful, but one of my best friends left for university last week, and I felt that way too.

    My advice, is try surrounding yourself with other people, keep yourself busy. Go out with your friends or family!!  Always be doing something, so you dont find yourself thinking how much you miss her!

    Don't worry, eventually you'll get use to it and feel better, it just takes a bit of' time, its hard to have someone, who has been in your life so consistently to just leave. If you want, maybe you should try giving her a call too!
