  4. No thats more likely to be too little. You need to include some meat and other vegetables such as carrot with your dinner to stay healthy. Also make sure that drinking skim milk instead of fulllcream isn't depriving you of calcium too much. Check for white spots on your fingernails and if you have some you might need to change to fullcream milk or have something else containing calcium. Hope it helps :D

  8. Food is fuel, nothing more, nothing less. If you are very active you will need more fuel, if you are sedentary then you will need less fuel. Perhaps your friends are more physically active?

Do you feel hungry? If so eat more food just make sure its nutritous, maybe add some protein, if you are vegan try snacking on Edamame's they are delicious

  12. If your friends eat more than you, why do you think you eat too much?

I have a bowl of cereal for breakfast (all-natural and whole grain with vanilla soy milk, of course). A bowl of lettuce with cucumbers is something I would have as a small snack, not as a meal. For lunch, I usually have a sandwich veggie burger or chick'n on all natural whole wheat bread, tofu stir fried in all-natural bar-be-que sauce in either an all-natural whole wheat tortilla or an all natural whole wheat pita. As a side, I have two bowls of two different veggies, which I quick cook. (I only buy frozen or fresh from the farmer's market. I heat up the water and put the veggies in long enough to either thaw, if frozen, or just get soft, if from the farmer's market.)

Dinner can vary from a repeat of lunch or a bowl of cereal (depending on time, what others in the house are having and even my mood; sometimes the cereal is just a snack before dinner), or real food, like last night I had a bowl of whole wheat pasta with tomato sauce.

I think yesterday I ate a bit more than usual. However, I waited for lunch and didn't get to eat until I felt really hungry. For lunch, I had a veggie chick'n sandwich, a bowl of carrots (probably about a cup's worth) and a bowl of green beans. After I laid my 11-month-old daughter down for a nap, I had a bowl of green beans (about a cup's worth, at least). When I realized that the green beans did nothing for the hollow feeling and I was still feeling lightheaded, I had a bowl of Kashi Go Lean! Crunch cereal with some chocolate soy milk. After that, I had a peach. (Not from the farmer's market, but from Whole Foods, but was purchased locally by the grocery store.) When I had dinner, I just had the pasta. My daughter and I went to a La Leche League meeting at the library where I had an all-natural granola bar. When I got home, I had some chocolate soy "ice cream". As I was nursing my daughter before bed, I had a bowl of frozen blueberries and frozen strawberries. I ate a bit more than usual yesterday, but so what. It was all natural and all real food, so it's not a huge deal. Also, at six feet, 155, I could stand to gain a few more pounds. I eat and eat, but I don't seem to gain weight. I think most of it is from breastfeeding. When my daughter is weaned, I think I might gain some weight back. If, after a few months, I'm not even up to 160-65, I will get a bit concerned. (When my daughter was conceived, I was a happy, healthy, 170.) Eh. I'm healthy and happy.
