I feel like I really need to pee in my dreams, but when I get up to go I can't. Why?

It takes all of my strength not to pee and then barely anything comes out. What is going on? Keep in mind that I am only 15 years old!

sometimes i have that same problem. try relaxing and not pushing it out, it might take some time but it will come out eventually. try listenin to water from the sink or thinking about water. if it help u might wanna try peeing sitting down!

Do you still feel like you have some pee to get rid of after the little bit comes out?  Maybe your "don't pee while sleeping" reflex is on overdrive, and you're having trouble relaxing it.  Try putting your hand in a bowl or sink of lukewarm water if you're having trouble relaxing; that usually overrides the anti-pee programming.  Try not to strain and force out pee, it's generally not good for you.  Just be patient and wait for yourself to relax.  Try sitting down to pee; it may be easier to relax your urinary muscle if you're not using the other muscles in the area to keep yourself standing straight.  If you have an erection when you get up to pee you may have to wait for it to go down; there's a reflex that prevents your pee from passing through your erect p***s.

a couple of things could be going on:

first, you do need to pee, but because of your age, and you probably wake up with an erection, the prostate is closed off preventing urine from getting through the urethra easily.

secondly, it might not be the need to pee so much as you may be on the verge of having a wet dream, and it's more that you were about to ejaculate.

If it's in your dreams, then it doesn't necessarily mean that you got to go - it could be just a dream.  If you're not able to pee normally at other times - like in the middle of the day and then sort of thing, then you might have some problems going on with your water works.  This link has some good information: http://www.malehealth.co.uk/userpage1.cf...

There's something called BPH which is an enlarged prostate gland.  Very unsual in a guy your age, but not impossible.  If it keeps up, I'd talk to your parents about it and go see a doctor.  They can check you out to see if you are having some waterworks problems and get them fixed for you.
