I recently started watching Heath Ledger movies and since he isn't going to be in any more besides the Dark Knight and one in 2009 isn't it rather pointless to become a fan?

Some of the best actors of all time are dead. Doesnt mean you can't appreciate them for their amazing work in cinema.

Why would it be pointless, my Dear?

This is like saying, anything in history aught to be ignored. I for myself am very impressed with Sofia Scholl. A young woman who was a member of the 'Weisse Rose'. A non-violent resistance group, against the n**i regime. She stood up, for what she believed in, and never budged. She was executed by the guillotine in 1943.

So, it does not matter, that you like Heath,  after the fact.

No...you can be a fan of someone without them having to be alive. Being a fan is just showing your admiration for that person.

what! no.. don't feel like a r****d because of that. what about Marilyn Monroe or Elvis Presly? i also love the write Roald Dahl and he's dead, he'll never be writing more books but he's still a very creative, inticing writer that i like.

Has long if u like the movies then who cares. Im a huge fan of some old movies and the actors are dead... So dont worry ur not r****d if u like Heath Ledger....
