I'm fifteen years old and I have a lot of good friends but this year when I started 10th grade, it feels they dont say hey to me anymore or look at me or talk to me or hug me like they did last year.

Also i do have a few close friends but sometimes they ignore me, like when I'm riding in the car with them. they dont say anything or when I'm hanging with another bunch of friends, they dont talk to me. i just miss the old days we're didn't care what other people thought of them.

I'm so emotional!! Can anyone help or advice? Nobody takes me seriously, not even my own parents

  1. Maybe its just because the school year has just started again and if some of them are people you're not super close to, maybe they just don't think much of it? Why would you hang out with friends that ignore you or don't even talk to you when you're hanging out in a group? That doesn't sound like a very good friend to me. You should say something! I would speak up and ask them why they're ignoring you and not acting the same anymore. You know..I remember when I was that age (I'm 24 now) and a lot of people your age are going through huge changes and its possible they could think they're too cool now or maybe they're trying to be someone they're not just to fit in and in return, its causing them not to act like the same people anymore. Maybe its time to look for some new friends? I find it odd that your "close" friends would do that. Any friends I had that I considered to be very close friends would NEVER turn their back on me or just start acting like I wasn't important anymore. You really just need to say something to your closest friends and explain to them that you feel like things aren't the same anymore, and depending on how they act when you tell them how you feel, you might need to start shopping for better friends. Good luck!

  2. Those are all totally normal feeling for a 15 year old.  Being a teenager is very emotional... you're trying to figure out who you are, you're trying to learn to be an adult, you're trying to impress people who don't matter.

Find a few really good people and build a really good friendship with them.  Write in a journal to get out all your feelings.  Keep that journal so that you can read it to your daughter when she's 15 and going through all the same things.

Your parents don't take you seriously because they know what it's like to be a teenager.  They know that it's just teenage drama and that you will grow out of it in a few years.

  3. i suggest moving on from them,

    they can be ur acquaintances.

    of they never even thought

to ask u those questions then

    there not worth it.

move on and get to know people.

if u continue to worry bout them

then ur gonna feel worse and

    wont get over it.

  4. its just teenagers. i'm 15 and i feel the same you can't change it you just need to get used to it i have i know it sucks

    btw

    where are you from?

  5. Honey find new friends

  6. talk to them. Tht's the only way you can find out.

just tell them what you just tell us and see whats going on with them.

  7. My cousin Told me that by 11th Grade i would know who my real friends were.Looks like it took place a year early for you.Don't worry!!If you real matter to them they will come aroundd!!

  8. Don't worry, this happens to most people, I think...

I'm 25 and I can still remember being 15, such a fun time but so much drama going on...

Just be yourself, the people that are not being nice to you don't deserve to be your friends. I'm sure you will find new friends that will have more in common with you right now and will really appreciate you.

  9. I'm 15 too and i keep thinking to myself how people that i used to be close with have changed,i've changed over this year because i've grown up and become more mature others have just changed.

To me theres a difference between growing up and changing.

Dont worry i know exactly how you feel.

phhh the stresses of being a teenager ayyee

    lol :)
