I feel like my mom doesn't care about what I want to do.?

Question

There are 7 kids in my family. I do modeling and recently wanted to start ice skating with my friend. There is an open house Sunday, so I need ice skates and everything by then. My mom is like "What time is this open house? I want to get it over with." Today I need to go get ice skates (store is closed tomorrow) and I would like to go to the ice rink with my friends. My mom said she doesn't want to sit at the ice rink for 1 HOUR (that's it) on a nice day. She only wants to do the things she wants to do. Suggestions?
