I feel like some have their way to cheat to get double dice by certain ways on backgammon. Is that poss?

In Backgammon, as a rule, if the dice are thrown properly, using a cup and shaken, then thrown to the board, there should be no way for the dice to be thrown in a certain way so as to get a double.

If a player is not using a dice cup, and holding the dice in a certain way, it may be possible to "set the dice" to attempt to throw a double.
