I feel old, am I too old?

Question

I already have a degree in Bio and now I'm doing Nursing, but I won't finish until I'm 25. most of my friends are working and earning money etc.

will i be frowned upon by my future employer because all i have is retail experience by my mid-20s? i have done placements in the hospital as part of the course etc.

Well if you're planning on going into nursing then you won't be penalised, as you've already done placements to help you with your course. The retail experience will be a bonus as well, as it shows that you have other experience outside of the hospital, but any other 'outside' experience is not necessary I think as it's the hopsital experience that counts. And they won't frown upon it, as they know that's how long it takes to be trained in the medical field.

Its never too late to start and complete a degree..You need to locate some people who are in their 50's finishing their degrees.

Don't worry about what other people think..Its never too late to gain new education and wisdom...That is what life is all about..Learning
