Well I started a job about a month and a half ago and I have such a good re pore with the people I work with. Well I was given offered another position at a different company that would be a way better opportunity for me. There's room to grow, better benefits (I have a family as well), more vacation time, etc... I couldn't give a notice because I have to start like right away. So I told my boss that I was leaving and I felt so bad doing so. But should I? This is to better me, but on the other hand I feel bad about leaving my position open and leaving my co-worker to pick up the extra slack until they fill the position. Shouldn't I be happy about my new position?

  1. You will ALWAYS feel bad about leaving a job (unless you really hate it there). Everyone does...it is a very common feeling. However it sounds like you made the right decision. You need to think about career growth and benefits more than anything else.
