I feel really guilty, Help!?

Question

Ok, so my friends and I for a joke, hole-punched the side of our school jumper. I wasn't sure @ first but in the end I let one of my friends hole-punch my jumper. I feel really guilty now because when I put it in the washing machine, and my mum finds it, she will probably get mad at me because I have to give this jumper to my sister when she is my size. Will the hole in my jumper tear and make a bigger hole and make the jumper into threads if i put it in the wash? Please help!

umm yea my best advice to you would be to tell your mum the truth and have her patch it with a sewing device before the hole gets to big and opens up more

Yes. It will fray and get bigger when you wash it. What a big mistake. I'm guessing you will need to work to pay for another jumper to replace it. Don't do stupid, costly things like this again. It's not funny.

Own up to what you did. Ask your mom to show you how to fix it. Admit your mistake before she finds out by herself and she might understand. She probably did a few silly things when she was in school. After it's patched maybe you could wear a decorative pin or button over it, depending on where the hole is. I'm guessing you won't be the only one in your group in trouble over this. Next time say I can't do (whatever it is) because my mom would go Postal!
