I feel worried, and stressed about something, but I don't know why.

The worry feel comes whenever I'm watching t.v at night, and I get stressed about that.

Can someone tell me a way to get rid of or take care of the issue?

  1. well if you dont know what your worrying about.

    then why are you worrying.?

    hah.

  2. Well, it could be what you are watching, try watching something light-hearted rather than, say, the news. You may also have Anxiety Disorder. If that is the case you will need to see a counselor or a psychiatrist. With a counselor you may be able to just talk it out and figure out what is causing the anxiety and learn techniques to combat this. If you go to a psychiatrist you may be given medication to help. It is common to have anxiety only during certain times of the day or during certain situations with anxiety disorder.

  3. Please try to get over this as my son who is  11 has ulcers from worrying so much about everything' and i try to tell him that worrying about things does no good as if you cannot change them ' forget about it.I too stress about things and bite my nails till they bleed' and now i tell my self that if i cannot change what's bothering me; then relax...I wish you luck and if it continues go see a therapist to help you deal with this' as life's to short for worrying all the days.

  4. Hummm don't watch TV?  That might work.

  5. I would find a counselor of some sort and try to find out the source of your anxiety. it could be anxiety disorder or it could be something your subconscious is trying to get you to address. You need to talk to someone about what is going on in your life.

  6. You may be getting slight panic attacks which are very common.  And sometimes you can't tell what they are from.  Try maybe reading till you fall asleep for awhile and see if that helps relax you more.  The TV may be too mentally stimulating for just before bedtime.  It may be good to talk to someone professional about your fears if they continue.  Maybe first mention it to a parent, trusted family member or maybe a teacher or coach, minister...someone you feel confident talking to.  You may need someone to set you up with an appointment with a therapist to get to the root of the problem.  There are groups too where there are others with your problem and meds too that can alleviate the fears.  Best wishes.

  7. maybe it's something about what you're watching. try listening to the radio. or get rid of your tv, that should do it. ^,..,^

  8. This has happened to me a few times. Try occupying your mind with something else or anything that will help you fall asleep. Call a friend if you have to.

  9. Nighttime can be the worst if you're stressed or worried. You're tired and of course watching t.v. can push all the stress buttons on top of being tired....hence the well known phrase, "Everything will look better in the morning." Try getting up earlier if you're sleeping in late and going to bed earlier at night.

  10. You might have anxiety; at random moments, you feel heavy and burdened about SOMETHING, but you never really know what it is.

Is something on your mind? Are you watching TV alone and feel afraid? Only you know what's going on in your head.

My advice is to just to sleep early and skip TV for a week. Then, on the last day of the week, try watching TV again at night and see what happens. If you feel the same way, go to sleep again. If the condition worsens, you really should seek medical attention.
