I feel sick! And I have to sing tomorrow!?

I feel like I'm going to throw up (lol, not from being nervous, but because I ate too much). How do I get rid of the feeling? I have a singing performance and I really don't want to feel sick for it. How do I get better in time?

  1.    Relax!   Your food will be digested by tomorrow.  You might want to avoid drinking milk in the morning, because that can produce mucus in your throat!  Have some orange juice instead...You will be fine tomorrow!

        Good luck!

  2. Drink a hot milk tea or something liquid that is hot and while drinking just relax in the bed and in a few hours (couple of hours), you'll get better and then practice for the big show tomorrow! I hope i helped!

  3. drinking lots of water would help. doctors recommend you drink half your body weight in ounces every day. and a little hint for singing, right before you sing you should gargle warm slightly salty water. i know you will preform well!

  4. First off, you should take Gas X. From my own experience, this has always helped me with nausea, as well as acid in the stomach. Also, if you have the chewable ones (they come in different flavors) this is even more effective for immediate relief. You may also want to consider getting slippery elm (lozenges or capsules). Slippery elm helps aid digestion. I always keep some on me. I even take some lozenges with me to an audition because it helps lubricate the throat and vocal mechanism. When the bloating and nausea feeling goes down, you could drink a cup of warm (not over hot) chamomile or slippery elm tea (using one or two slippery elm capsules). You may want to add a little bit of lemon and honey to either one of them. This will settle the stomach, produce a calming effect, as well as keep the vocal passages clear. Also, get plenty of rest. Save your energy for tomorrow. Good luck!
