  1. do you have any medicine, like tylanol with you? that should help. otherwise i guess you'll have to try and just hold the pain in.

  2. Take some Tylenol, turn off the lights, and take a nap.

  3. Is this your first semester at school? Your feelings are somewhat normal. My son is 8 hours from home and he said lots of girls can't take being away from their moms and dads. I asked my son(he is now a junior) if he ever got homesick and he said for what? He was ready to be out of high school, he sighned up for several groups and clubs and made many new friends and so will you. Give it time and lots of your friends in college will become lifetime friends. Call your mom and dad maybe once a week, you will make many new friends! Trust me on this, good luck and I'll tell you what I told my son, go and make something of yourself and don't let anyone hold you back. If you leave school believe me, you will regret it. If you must talk to your advisor at your college and open up about it. You will be fine Go for it!

  4. If you've had the symptoms for several days it could be anxiety or depression. Sometimes those problems manifest themselves physically. Your college should have a nurse. Talk to her and she can give you Tylenol, cold medicine, etc. for free or a reduced price. If she thinks its anxiety-related she can hook you up with the school counselor.

  5. sleep it off. get out more. see your doctor, maybe you are allergic to something in your new environment.
