  1. it wasn't that much of a good idea but if you dried them peripherally they should be fine

if you ever feel they need help cleaning themselves use a cotton bud in warm water and just smove that over them and you can use an old toothbrush too bush them

  2. gee. warm up a towel lightly w/ a hairdryer and wrap them in it. i dont know, first signs of illness take them to a vet.

  3. the best thing to do is to call and dicuss the situation with your local vet, trust me they can give you the help you need.

  4. why would you do that!?!

    didnt you research??

  5. Now that you have realised that it is bad, don't do it again. Just wipe them dry completely with a soft cloth or tissue again to ensure that their fur is not wet as wet fur can cause problems to their health.

Hamsters do not need any kind of bath. They are naturally one of the cleanest animals you can ever have and they always groom themselves immaculately.

There are pet shops that stock products for hamster bath but remember never to buy them since they are only for attracting gullible shoppers and not for the hamster's goodness. Also never give a hamster bath with water or shampoo since it will strip its fur of natural oils and make it prone to skin infections.

CHINCHILLA SAND is a good option for hamsters. Buy only chinchilla sand and not the dust since dust can cause respiratory infections for hamsters. Place a 1 inch dish filled with chinchilla sand permanently in the hamster cage so that the hamster can roll on it and clean its fur whenever it wants to. Be around to see it, it is sheer entertainment watching them doing that !! Change the sand in the dish once a week.

  6. Never bathe a hamster! They l**k them selves clean like a cat. Your hamster will be ok if he didn't get a draft to give him a cold. Make sure he stayw warm till he is dry!

  7. they arent supposed to get wet.

didnt you research the animals before you adopted them?

  8. my friend had a genie pig and use to give him baths but she made sure he was dry. she used a hair dryer lol. i think they will be fine as long as the are dry and aren't really wet.

  9. If they start acting weird take them to a vet asap
