I feel so betrayed. My last employer told my background investigator that I put in my 2 week notice, but i didn't work through it. Here's the thing i put in my two weeks notice and I stayed the whole two weeks plus I even did my last employer a favor by staying two extra weeks just so he can find a replacement. I feel so betrayed, I feel like I want revenge. I have some dirt on him and I want to rat him out to Loss pervention. Should I keep quiet or get back at him?

  1. Will it make you a better person?

It may make you feel better. I don't think I would feel better getting someone fired.

  2. I don't like back stabbers. I think he needs a taste of his own medicine! Do what you have to do.

  3. What he did was illegal.  You should call his boss and let him know what he did or turn him in to the dept of labor.  This is not merely revenge because he could have or did cause you to lose a job.  This will also prevent future abuse on his part because the dept of labor will be all over him.  You should be able to prove the time that you worked with your check stubs.
