my game had just ended, and this boy came up to me and was like : " hey leigha " and i wasnt paying attention so i didnt day hi back, and then when me and my friend got in the car..she was like: did u say hi to john? and i was like what? and she was like : didnt you hear him? and i said nooo...he didnt say hi. and i guess he did! i just wasnt paying attention ! i feel soo bad and stupid ): aww i wish i had heard him !

Well, those things happen sometimes. If he's someone you see at school, you could apologize and just let him know that you didn't hear him and feel bad that you didn't say hello.
