Just felt like whinging lol, up until last week, I just had a bit of nausea, nothing too major. Now I'm over 11 weeks and I just feel soooooooooo yuck ALL day! I thought it was meant to start getting better around about now, not worse!! So I know I can't complain too much because I haven't vomited at all, and I'm grateful for that, but still!

Anyone else been feeling so yuck without the vomiting?

(Just thought I should add, I'm SO excited to be pregnant though! yay!)

  1. I was nauseous for 12 weeks with my first, 11 1/2 with the second and for 23 weeks with the 3rd and never threw up. peppermint life savers were WONDERFUL. you can also put lemon extract on a towel and breath that and it is suppose to help.!

If it gets too bad that you can't function, there is a med that dr can prescribe.

    Congrats!

  2. Mine lasted well into the second trimester. Ugh. I haven't thrown up that much, about 10 times so far, but the all day nausea just wore me out. I actually lost weight due to the nausea and sickness the first trimester. It is quite a bit better lately, thankfully! I am actually craving foods now, until a few weeks ago I was just eating what didn't make me sick at the very thought of it. You are almost to the second trimester.....I hope your morning sickness vanishes the way it does with most and your second trimester is cake =).

  3. Try taking a Vitamin B-12 supplement along with your prenatal vitamins this worked wonders for my morning sickness! Good Luck and congrats on the baby!

  4. I was off work for almost 4 months from morning sickness!

And take it from someone who knows... nausea is almost WORSE than vomiting!!!  Although I've had my fair share of both!

I'm 7 months pregnant and STILL don't manage 5 days of work a week (and I had to go part-time just to afternoons!)

Morning Sickness is terrible - but the closer i get to this baby, the more excited I feel!!!!!

COngrats - and you'll get through it... just keep your eye on the "prize" :)

  5. Just thought you'd like to know.. I was looking up what fruits have the best nutritional content..well, I was looking at watermelon and many sites claim that it helps with nausea during pregnancy... I was getting a little sick here and there, but the watermelon has helped. Well, good luck!
