whenever i have a dream that has to do with some kind of pressure or pain on my back, i get this bad sensation. it like doesnt hurt, but like i dont know how to explain it..

i curl my back in, and it its uncomfortable.

the other night i had a dream that a bear was scratching and pushing on my back, and i could feel it.

but the weird thing is, when i wake myself up, i still feel it. the feeling is still there. but it eventually goes away.

  1. Yes, and believe it or not, this is quite normal.

Your body, although sleeping, is still receiving commands from your brain. This is how some people sleepwalk, talk, etc.

For you, your brain is dreaming about painful things and sending a signal to your body "hey, we're being injured!" and your nerve endings respond. Your pain is real.

It could also be the other way around. If you injure yourself while you sleep, your brain can turn it into a dream about an injury to that part of the body.

  2. dreaming of your back represents your attitudes, strengths, burdens and how you see the world. also to stress/pressure someone is putting on you. it could also represents secrets you are hiding about something or yourself. also family problems. the scratching represents frustration or someone hit a sore spot in you and feelings of anxiety about having to start over again. being pushed in your dream represent that you feel you are being pressured into doing something. or that you feel the need for perfection in a situation and you dont think you have enough time to finish the task. the bear represents ovewhelming obstacles and competion or that you feel you are in a threatening situation. it also may be saying that you need to let everything out. and that you are in a period of thinking.

sounds like you are going through a situation where you either feel pressure and you really dont want to do it. are you having family problems or is this pertaining to your job? just do a self check on what is bothering you in your life right now and then tackle and deal with the situation once you have a clear answer on what it is you need and how you want to deal with the problem. i hope that this helps and good luck. p.s you could also be sleeping on your back wrong whenever i sleep on my body parts in the wrong way i will dream of something bad happening to them but i wake up and usually its my hand or arms that has fell asleep where i was sleeping on them wrong.
