I feel very unfulfilled no matter what I do, why is this?

i am single and often think about hte one i loved back in hte day. i loved them so much. i feel this is my problem. i feel i am only complete with another person.

sounds like you're lovesick. have you tried looking for someone else? do you spend quality time with your friends? i do think that you should coz otherwise you will feel empty for a long time and then you will lock back on the time you lost sulking and you will wish you got that time back. dont put yourself in that situation. try to have fun. do things you KNOW make you feel good. go out and make friends and talk more about your feelings. it'll make you feel better. i have been in your spot and the only thing i am sorry for is not my life, but the fact that i wasted two years of it sulking. it was NOT worth it.
