i figured out the scam i fell for is a 419 scam. when i replied to the email, i gave them my full name, date of birth,po box, city and state i am living in, s*x, and phone number. i want to know if they can to anything bad to me or my credit with the information i gave. i didnt give any numbers to any accounts, my social, or any credit card numbers, and i havnt cashed/forwarded any money or checks to them yet. i just recently sent them that info. if there is something they can do to me, please tell me what they can do, and what i have to do to stop them from doing so.

  1. Don't know what a 419 scam is, but it looks like you didn't give them anything of any importance.  As someone else said, it's all public knowledge and easily found out anyway.

Would someone please enlighten me as to what a 419 scam is???

  2. No dont worry. They cannot do any thing with that information. But a word of caution. If he is a pro in computer hacking, he can identify your system ip and other details. Even in that case he cannit do much harm for you with that information.

    Rest assured. No probs....

  3. You probably didn't give them enough information to do anything - but it might be worth registering with an agency that will watch your credit history for suspicious activity.

  4. not to worry == all of that is public information!!!

  5. Well I don't believe that you gave them enough information for them to do something to you.

  6. I do not think what you gave them is enough info for them to do anything.

  7. what i can say is that, if he is a pro, can easily use your identification to fake a registration to apply for anything that has loopholes without you even realising.  Remember, the ring group knows where you stay.
