  1. ~~You can talk to Walmart and see how they handle it-did you file a injury claim when the accident occurred? If you did not you should go talk to a couple of attorneys who handle liable cases and get advice from them. Your medical costs and any fruther treament should be covered as well as compensation for any pain and suffering, work loss, etc. you've incurred if Walmart was negligent. Good luck and feel better soon.~~

  2. Why did you fall?

Just because you fell on someones property does not mean you are entitled to get paid. Sometimes cr@p happens and you don't get paid for it.

In order to get compensation from Wal-Mart - you would have to prove that Wal-Mart's negligence caused you to fall.

Now....Wal-Mart is a big company. They have security cameras all over the store.

Did you report the fall to the store manager that day- right after it happened?  If not....you have a very big problem.  The burden of proof is on you - not them.

A medical report from a Dr saying "patient reports she fell at Wal-mart" is not proof you fell at Wal-Mart.  It's just proof that you told a dr that you fell at Wal-Mart.

If you insist on pursuing this - contact the store manager. But, keep in mind....this ain't Wal-Mart's first rodeo.

You are only entitled to recovery if you can prove that Wal-Mart was negligent and that negligence is the direct cause of your injury.
