Question:

I felt a little soft "thump" lying down last night and i'm 16w, 2 days. Was that the baby? This is my first. ?

I thought it could have been gas, but nothing "followed" the thump... ha ha. Could that have been the baby moving?

  2. That's your little bean!!  Enjoy that feeling while it's a soft thump because pretty soon it will be a hard foot up under your rib cage!!

  4. I'm sure it was.  My first son was 16 weeks when I first felt him move.  Enjoy every minute of it.  They grow up too fast.  

  5. its possible haha when i first started feeling the baby kick it just felt like a gas bubble in my stomach.

  6. i would say so congrats!!! when i first started to feel baby move it was around 16-17 weeks and it was weird cause i was so unsure cause i could feel the movement like inside my stomach but when i put my hand on my stomach nothing untill i moved my hand away so i thought i was going crazy!!!!

  7. Most likely :) i felt my little girl move when i was 16w 2d myself :) and thats how i described it to people was a thump--amazing isnt it?

    It might be a little too early.  I have had 2 babies, and I felt them at 21 weeks and 24 weeks for the first time, but that may have been a little late.

  14. Definitely possible! I started to feel our little girl move around 16 weeks.
