I figured out a way to lessen global warming and reduce marijuana addicts over the long run?

Question

The idea is to plant marijuana plants everywhere. Tons of it. The reason cannabis one of the best plants to plant to reduce global warming is because it grows really, really fast and absorbs a load of carbon dioxide for a plant. It also gives out Oxygen generously.

The reason it will actually (counterintuitively) reduce marijuana addiction is because the countries that made it legal saw a decrease in use, and this is because it's not seen as a symbol of rebellion anymore. And if we plant it everywhere people won't be as inclined to do year around flowering, which mean manijuanics could just smoke it on special yearly buddings.

You just want it to be legal so you can get high and stupid. Legalizing it won't stop people from getting high and stupid no more than ending prohibition stopped people from getting drunk and stupid.

Planting marijuana plants everywhere to ward off global warming is an utterly foolish suggestion.  It is like "jumping from the pan into the fire".  Either way we are the loosers.

that's actually a pretty good idea... but i'd think that a lot of younger kids would probably start using it...

idk though, marijuana is a very contravercial and difficult issue to deal with.

You're on to something!  Maybe more ways then one?

Pick a Liberal state (like Vermont) open it up Free Drugs - It would be a Giant Magnet for a Continuous Woodstock - All Druggies would flock there, which would mean less crime in other cities.

Then when the Eugenics Believers take power they could easily eliminate a useless segment of the population.

I agree, it sounds like a decent idea.  Of course, it's not going to be happening anytime soon.  I have always been in favor of legalization of marijuana.  It's so much safer and less addictive than alcohol.  

By the way, from your wording, you don't sound like you actually smoke marijuana.  Do you?
