I file my 2007 taxes but did not get any letter telling me any thing...?

You'll only get a response if you owe money or are due a refund. If you are waiting for a stimulus check (still) they will send you a letter if you are not eligible telling you why.  The checks STILL haven't all been processed.

The IRS does not respond to the filing of a tax return unless there was an error in that return or it left out income.
