Cowgirl...Not everyone feels good about filing. A bankruptcy filing is usually the last resort for everyone after trying to pay the debts off and get back on their feet. Different situations happen, divorce, medical issues, job loss. Are you sure it's guilt and not relief?  It will be ok, you'll re-establish your credit and with some hard work, regain your credit like you want it to be. Good Luck!
