I filed for an extension for my speeding ticket, can I pay for it through mail or do I have to go back?

I filed for an extension because I had gotten laid off that same week when I was supposed to have paid for my ticket. I now have found a new job since, but can't take time off yet. Would I be able to send a check through mail or do it online? If I wanted to take traffic school, would I have to send them my certificate at the time I pay or do I send it in at a later date?

  1. Simple, call the court.

A bigger concern would be to NOT let your Insurance rates go up.  To prevent this DO TRAFFIC SCHOOL right away.  I would recommend doing traffic school ONLINE.  I found http://www.TicketRelief.com to be the easy one out there.

    Good Luck!

  2. You can definitely pay for it through the mail.  You probably can't negotiate anything else without going in and talking to a prosecuter.  I would recommend you figure out a way to fit that in if possible, because you may end up being able to get out of the ticket entirely.  Way too many people just pay their ticket when they don't necessarily have to.

  3. call the court and find out.....only they can give you the precise answers without jeopardizing a warrant being issued
