Question:

I filed for bankruptcy 5 yrs ago. my attorney notified all my debtors. none of them appeared in court ?

when i went to court with my attorney none of my debtors came and i was granted the bankruptcy now 5 years later one of my debtors served me with a lawsuit are they allowed to do that?

If the debt was included in the bankruptcy, they cannot.  See if you can call the attorney representing the creditor and get him to dismiss the lawsuit upon receipt of a copy of the bankruptcy petition.  If that's not possible, you will need to file a motion to dismiss based on discharge in bankruptcy.  The court clerk's office may be able to help you with this or you may have to get a lawyer.
