I filed joint taxes with my husband.we r seperated now and have filed for the divorce.how can i know abt check

we filed joint taxes but are under divorce. we had a joint bank accoutn where our tax refund will be directly deposited. i have no access to his accounts now. how will i know where do my stimilus check went.

Soon after you notice the new car in your old driveway.  You should have had a paper check sent so that you could control the funds.  Anyway, you can go to the IRS site and click on the where's my refund at? button and it will tell you when it was paid.  They also have a status button for your stimulus payment.  Good luck.

If you had a direct deposit of your regular refund, your stimulus check will go there to IF the account is still active.  If the account is not active, the deposit is refused and a check will be mailed to the address on the return.

All direct deposits are done, so if it were going to be direct deposited, it would be there by now.

If the stimulus payment is indeed direct deposited, it went into the same account that your refund went.  Other wise the check will be mailed to both of you at the address on your return.  You can call the IRS at 1-866-234-2942 and they should be able to tell you if the stimulus rebate payment has been made.
