Does the IRS have a number you can call to talk to a real person as to where it might be.

  1. First of all do you qualify?  Visit IRS website www.irs.gov

wheres my stimulus and use the stimulus calculator (you must have your tax return to plug in some figures) once you have enter all the info it will let you know if you qualify and how much and when to expect the rebate.

  2. There is some very important information about the stimulus checks including the phone number you are asking for at:

    http://www.irs.gov/irs/article/0,,id=180...

  3. might be in the mail if a hi number last on ss.

It also depends on your income on taxes filed. couples get

600 not 1200. even if husband passed away. wife will get

only for one  depending on income . some got less. not

what was told in the  by the government.every did not get

a check. not for everyone in the family. 600 X number.

couples that  file separately get for each on there separate income.

  4. Yes, but there can be a few reasons:

If you are a dependent, you don't qualify.

Enter your info from your tax return at http://www.irs.gov/app/espc/ to see if you qualify.

There is one more set that was just mailed today, so if you ss# ends in digits between 88 and 99,  yours is very likely in that group.

When did you file? If you efiled very close to 4/15, or mailed your return after mid-March, it's likely that you missed the cutoff for your return being processed by 4/15 so missed this first round - if so, you'll get your check in late July or in August.

If you filed an amendment, then your stimulus check will be delayed until the amendment is processed.

  5. Use their website www.irs.gov and you will find a number there.

  6. It's on the http://www.irs.gov website.  I called today about mine, and found out I don't get one because I didn't make enough money last year.  Apparently you have to have money to get it, and if you don't have any money, you don't get it.

  7. Go to the website  www.irs.gov  and click on "where is my stimulus payment"  They have a chart that goes by the last numbers of your social security  number and it tells the date that the checks will be processed.  If you don't get your check within 6 weeks of when it was supposed to be sent you can call 1-866-234-2942.

  8. I'm not exactly sure but I think they're still being handed out, I only recieved mine a few months ago. They get send out in order of the last two numbers of yer social security number. The higher the number the later it will be sent out.
