I filed my 2007 tax return in February and its July now and I have not gotten my stimulus check yet....?

I was supposed to get a direct deposit sometime in May, but I have not gotten it yet and its Mid-July. I wasnt claimed as a depedent on either of my parents tax returns and Im single with no kids or anybody. Why havent I gotten my stimulus check? Im supposed to get $300 back. I havent even gotten a letter from the IRS or anything. Is there a number I can call where I can talk to someone? Has anyone else not gotten their direct deposit yet?

Do you even qualify? Did you use the IRS Stimulus Calculator to make sure you qualify, using the calculator will let you know if you qualify, and if so how much and when to expect the rebate.

First, call 1-866-324-2942 to see if you were eligible for a check and when it was scheduled.

If you are eligible and one is scheduled, but it's past the date, then check to see if it was used to satisfy any back taxes, student loans, or child support by calling 1-800-304-3107.

Both of these numbers give automated information and only take a few minutes. You will need to know your social security number, filing status (Probably a 1) and your exemptions (Probably a 1).

If everything is clear and it's been more than 6 weeks since you were scheduled to get a check, call the IRS directly.

By the way, if you used direct deposit but got a rapid refund, or paid your filing fees by having it deducted from your refund then you are getting a paper check.
