  1. Yes it is very ridiculous, until your are the age 24, married, or have a child your financial aid is determined based on your parents.  I hadn't lived with my parents for 2 years and still had to use their income.  I would apply for grants and definitely look into student loans.

  2. I think that the best thing to do in this situation is contact a representative of FAFSA and talk to them about your situation through the phone.

  3. Without knowing your age or where you live it is hard to give advice. I will tell you that there isn't anything you can do about your parents making too much money. If you don't qualify for grants, you will need to look into loans and scholarships. Full Sail is a very expensive school, and I'm sure there is help available if you contact the financial aid department and speak with someone. Good luck!

  4. There is nothing you can do. Just because you're not living in a mansion doesn't mean your parents make very little. Also any of your family's assets (like savings accounts) get added into your FAFSA. Plus, having JUST done it, you wouldn't have gotten much aid even if you seriously did need it because the deadline for both your state and federal money passed a long time ago.

You're not going to get a full sail. *I* didn't get a full sail and my EFC was 0 and I had a 4.3.

  5. Your parents need to take you to the career section in the unemployment office.  They will pay full tuition if you make $11 or less.  They will not go by your parents income.  You have to maintain a 2.0.
