I finally figured out why McCain picked?

Sarah Palin. Everyone is talking nonsense about babies and moose burgers and beauty pageants. Isn't it better for McCain to have everyone thinking about nonsense issues than the real issues? Maybe his pick was a good idea. Maybe he is smarter than I give him credit for. What do you think?

Yeah, you hit the nail on the head! It's all an unnecessarily elaborate plot to keep people from thinking about the real issues and start thinking about pregnant daughters and burgers made from mooses.

Her pick is distracting everyone from real issues. I think he will have to address them in the debates though. As a society we are lead easily astray though. I get your point.

I think he picked Palin because he's trying to get votes from more women. Palin having a 17 year old daughter who's pregnant doesn't really help though.
