Is It Worth It?
Bloods, Crips, KKK’s… What is this world coming to? We are all human beings, we should be sticking together trying to make it, but yet we’re killing each other off one by one. Bloods hate Crips, Crips hate Bloods. When the two gangs meet face- to –face the riot of death begins. As for the KKK’s, everyone knows who they hate… African Americans, gang involved or not. They usually go after the ones who aren’t gang involved because they figure the ones who are will end up dead anyways. There are other gangs formed by race like the Asian gangs and the Samoan gangs. It’s just so ridiculous. What’s next?.. California isn’t the only place where gangs are. This “Mad Gang Disease†has spread to almost every state that comes to mind plus more.
The initiation process for males is getting jumped in by the gang you wish to be apart of or killing innocent lives. For females, it’s a choice between getting jumped in or sleeping with a member. Is it worth it? There are many reasons as to why people (usually teens) join gangs. Mostly because they have no other family and no one loves them or for protection from bullies or even relatives. Being young and in a gang can ruin your future. Being old and in a gang can ruin your life. I’m talking jail time, trouble getting jobs, not being able to go to certain areas alone, and what about those tattoos reppin’ your set? Its permanent so never go anywhere in public without a shirt on because it could be your last outing. You’ll be a wanted person for the rest of your life in the eyes of the police and your gangs’ enemies. Who wants things like that held against them for the rest of their life? I don’t know how many gang members believe in life- after- death. But for the ones that do, where are you going after you’ve robbed somebody, sold drugs, hit your mother, and you cant forget that little boy you killed. Oh! And if your having second thoughts about leaving a gang once you’ve joined, remember that number one rule, “Blood in Blood Outâ€Â, which only means what it says, So go ahead and think about that and ask yourself is it worth it?
