  1. if your fishing a dam try to use Minny brush hogs or put two jigs on the line about 6 inches apart Ive done that before i caught 6 small bass and a number of white perch.


  2. Many things you could do - from the tiny description I have of where you are fishing - it sounds like a dam - duh. Anyway, use a large live bait - large hook - no weight - put a cork (bobber, float - whatever)  a good three feet up the line from the live bait. Throw it either upwind, or upstream - or both if possible. Let the wind and/or current do the fishing for you - follow the bobber as far as you can before you have to bring it in and start over. Don't throw out - bring it in - throw out - bring it in. You are confusing fish that want to bite - cast upstream, the natural order of things will lead it to where fish go -

  3. I like all the Storm Wild-eye baits but whatever you do unless you want gar don't bother with live bait.
