  1. My son did the same thing to our toilet. If you can't push them down with a plunger, which I'm betting you can't. You'll have to do what I had to do: take off the toilet. It's easy. There are two bolts holding the toilet to the floor.  Turn off the water first (the valve is behind and below the toilet, usually.) then, once the water is off, flush the toilet and hold down the handle to allow as much water to go out as possible. Then with a cup dip out the remaining water in the bowl (yeah, icky) and the tank. Then take a wrench and remove the nuts off the bolts holding the toilet to the floor (the bolts may have white caps covering them). You may  have to pull up on the toilet while you're unloosing the nuts. Once the nuts are loose, turn the bolts by hand while pulling up on them lightly. (the bottoms of the bolts, which are inside the toilet casing, are in a slot in the floor). Turn the bolts until the bottom of the bolt aligns with the slot and comes out. Remember, you can't see it so you have to feel with your hands by tugging lightly on the bolts. If that doesn't work, simply keep unscrewing the nuts until they come off. Once that's done, straddle the toilet. Bending your knees and keeping your back straight, reach beneath the toilet bowl and carefully lift the toilet up and move it to the side. The toilet may not want to come up easily. That's because it is being held in place by a wax ring, which is used to seal the toilet pipe to the plumbing that carries away the waste. Once the toilet is off, tip it to the side and see if you can see or feel the sticks. They're probably be right at the bottom of the toilet. You can also inspect the inside of the pipe coming up from the flooring. they may be stuck there, but I doubt it. Sounds like they're still inside the toilet. use a clothes hanger to reach in and work them loose if need be. Replace the old wax ring with a new one. (cost about $2) don't try to use the old one if it is smashed or torn up. While you're at it, replace the bolts and nuts with new ones that are easy to s***w. The old ones may be rusted. Put the new bolts or old ones back in the slots on the retainer ring on the floor. You can see how they slip in. Align them across from each other. Put a book or a ruler from one to the other. They Should line up across from one another and both of them should be parallel to the back wall. Carefully lift the toilet up and over the bolts (this is the hard part, getting the bolts in the holes without ruining the wax ring). Then put the nuts on and tighten them down. Make sure the toilet is tight to the floor or some fat *** sitting on it will tip it over someday. good luck.

  2. I agree with the answer to take the toilet off, that is the only way to remove the sticks and wrappers, hope all goes well

  3. All you can do is take the toilet off, pull out the sticks and put it back.  That is the only way to correct this problem and next time remember how gross this job is!

  4. try using a plunger first, and then a plumber's snake.  If it isn't too far down, use the hooked end of a wire hanger.  When through, don't flush the wire hangar down the toliet (just had to say that).

  5. Call a plumber - if you are dense enough to flush popsicle sticks then you don't know enough to fix this.

  6. Mate use a plunger , other than that you can try to 'hit' the obstruction with a bucket full of water (when the toilet is at it's normal water level) with a hand full of toilet paper first this sometimes has worked for me.Other than that mate you'll have to call a plumber, oh and be a bit careful with old mates' suggestion about pulling out the toilet pan. They are quite commonly cemented in and the screws/bolts are just for looks. Have fun lol

  7. you can try using a toilet auger but i doubt it will be able to push the pop sticks down the only other route is to remove the toilet from the floor and reach up inside it to pull the pieces out

  8. buy a closet auger to clear the drain and or call a plumber.

  9. call a pro to fix it.
