  1. Being a European or US citizen, no problem. A member of a Schenge state may even travel with a passport, which is unvalid for not more than one year.

    For some countries that a required to have a visa however, the passport must be valid at least six month after entry.

    But, from what I know, you can use your passport until the day it expires.

  3. If you need a visa to enter the Schengen zone, including France, your passport must be valid for more than 6 months after your return date.

    If you do not need a visa your passport will be valid.

  4. Of course....if you are still in France when your passport is due to be renewed....just renew it.
