I for the life of me can't remember the name of this movie. Has anyone seen it? If so what's the name?

All I remember about the movie is a little scene. Where the main character a guy is digging a hole for his mother in his basement. He rips up a brown teddy bear and throws it in the hole with his mother. I think when he puts his mother in the hole he dug she was still alive. As if he was barring her alive. Oh and if it helps the guy has glasses.

I haven't seen this movie in forever and now it's driving me crazy
