So I was reading the case about Tiffany Hall. She killed her friend and stole her unborn child. She also killed her friend's three children. Well I guess she was sentenced to life without parole. Relatives of the victims say that they forgive her. How could they forgive that? Or is that I don't know the true definition of 'forgive'?

  1. I don't get it either.  If someone had killed my daughter and stole my grandson, I would never forgive them.  Never.  And if they ever got out of jail, I would track them down and make the rest of their life miserable.

So maybe I don't know the true meaning of "forgive" either.

I can tell you that many "unforgivable" acts can be forgiven.  Most people look to their religion for the strength required to forgive in circumstances like that.  Frankly, that kind of forgiveness would have to be something God gave me the strength and love to do, because it wouldn't be humanly possible.

  2. for me the meaning of forgive is to forget but how come that she do that to her friend?what is the reason?
