I forgot the passcode to my iPod Touch. Is there a way to unlock it without restoring it??

Hmmm.... try talking to someone at the store you bought the iPod from. Usually they can help you get it unlocked or give you the number to someone who can. Sorry I'm not much help >.<

There is probably a way for the store geeks to override it and unlock it. so try that first if you don't want to restore it. but if they can't then you have to restore.

im pretty sure you can just plug the ipod into your computer and it'll unlock

hmmm... Are out sure you didn't jack it and it had a lockcode and now your mad cuz you can't use it? I always get suspicious when people ask a question like this about an iPod touch. It's all good tho, I did that once. You have to restore the ipod and put it in recovery mode. That's the only way to get the passcode erased.

try going back to the store where you bought it from they might be able to help, or any store that sells them should know.
