  1. You should be just fine.

  2. why ? it's always plugged in when you are home

  3. Just to your electric bill

  4. A refrigerator is designed to remain plugged in for years and years.

Only time it should ever be unplugged is for a hard defrost.

  5. Only if you left the doors open, hehehe.

As others have stated, a refrigerator is designed to be plugged in continuously.

If the doors are closed on it, it will actually run less than it would normally, were you home, because there will be no one there opening the door several times a day.

If, however, you did leave the doors open, then the refrigerator compressor is going to be fighting a losing battle, trying to keep the interior cold.. and all the cold air is going to be falling into the room...eventually burning up the compressor motor.  Which could in turn cause an electrical fire, possibly.  Hopefully, the breaker would trip before that.

I can't imagine anyone going on a 2 month extended vacation without arranging for someone to look in on the home occasionally.  I'd suggest you call and have them stop by and check on things.
