I found 2 carpenter ants in my kitchen- does this mean I have an infestation?

I am so scared. I've been living in an apartment for one month and have had NO problems with ants until today. I came home from work to find 2 dead carpenter ants in my kitchen (they might have been dead because when I moved in I sprayed Orto Home defense around baseboards). I am scared- what if I have an infestation? Have you ever just found a couple of carpenter ants and that was it? Or if you see a few does that mean more to come???? So terrified! :(

No I think this is typical,  I used to work at a shelter and my office was in the basement every spring the exterminator would come in and spray and i'd have a million dead flying ant/bug things on my rug.  they just come out and die.  I am buying some ortho home defense tomorrow so i'm glad it works.

You're freaking out over two ants?  Are you sure you didn't inhale some of that Ortho when you were spraying it?
