I found 2 dead baby bats in my house does this mean I have more bats in my House?

I threw out a bat a couple of days ago. The bats where in 2 different areas of my house.

How do you know they were babies..some adult bats are very small.  You must have some sort of crack or hole that leads into your home from outside.  Do you have an attic that they could be living in.  You need to have your house inspected to find the access point and have it blocked off.  Bats can fit into tiny cracks to gain access.  Keep in mind that bats are a very important part of the ecosystem as pest control.  Make sure you remove them in a humane way if you find more in your home.  Look here for humane extraction methods:

Most likely- if they were babies there parents are nearby.

Check above where you found the others during the day when they are sleeping.

Those two may have come in & died & that may be the end of it.

If you do have more, call a professional.

Bat bites can be so small you may not even notice that you were bit & they can carry diseases that are fatal to humans!

Probably in the attic.

Breeding bats usually live in a colony together.

Since bats are a beneficial animal, eating a lot of harmful insects, you should not try to get rid of them during the breeding season.  Once they are all grown, you can clean out the area and plug all the holes.  This is generally done at night while the bats are out.
