  1. I would take one to a pharmacy and ask a pharmacist and ground your son for a very very long time

Regarding Loritab 10s, no matter what your son says the reason is he has them, it may be time to look at some sort of counseling & help for him....in addition to him being grounded for a very long time.

  2. Get the newest copy of The Pill Book or the PDR (Pharmaceutical Desk Reference) and check the pictures of pills ... but whether these are narcotics or not, you do need to have a long 'heart to heart' talk with your son about taking drugs ... not just 'illicit drugs' like meth and weed, but pharmaceutical drugs.  You'll also need to question him about the possibility he's dealing drugs, since having 80 of one pill usually means dealing more than it means using a drug.  Be gentle, be kind, but be firm with your son about the fact (I hope) that it is not acceptable in your household to use drugs of any kind unless they have been prescribed for him by his pediatrician or primary care physician or psychiatrist.

  3. Call poison control.

They are pretty good with telling you what pills could be what.

  4. Talk to your son. If he is a teenager, he is experimenting. Find out wat he wants with those pills, and wat he is up to. He might not tell you, and ask wat you were doing in his room, just dont yell at him and STAY CALM! This is coming from a teen also, id say stop snooping around befor you have a heart attack! Just have a talk to him and ask him wats up.

  5. Sound like an antihistamine that I take.

    It could be anything.

  6. Does it have anything else inscribed in it? Could be generic vicodin/ lortab (hydrocodone/acetaminophen mix). Your best bet is to take it to your local pharmacy for identification.

  7. Pain killers or antianxiety pills.  Both very dangerous and addictive.  I would seriously find out what is going on with this kid.  He is either an addict, or selling.

  8. Man I am really sorry to hear that, you must be fliping out about now well only thing i would (say web md) www. web md.com, poison controll that number is 18002221222 or poison.com,for there web site and you also try you family MD then after that you should take your son into councling i wish you luck

  9. take em to a drug store or your doc or a cop they will tell them if they can't get a chemical thingy to see what it is

  10. http://www.pharmer.org/node/656

looks like painkillers.  you better talk to him

  11. ask your family doctor right away, don't google it, you might get wrong answers, you may be lucky and have a doctor answer it.....

  12. Is it more of a peach color?  It could be risperdal an antipsychotic.  You can probably go online and search for a drug manual with prescription pill pictures.  Is your child showing signs of depression or suicidal ideation?

  13. They could be innocent, and yet people automatically assume he's some kind of drug user, who are you to judge someone you don't know!?

I used to have some pain killers that shape and colour, they were a stronger form of paracetamol.

  14. Wow!  This is serious business...and if I were you, I'd research what the pills are, and I would have a serious sit-down with him...you need to find out what they are, where he got them, and WHY he has them.  If I were in your shoes, I might be tempted to call the police and let them deal with it...

Sometimes a little fear is a healthy thing...

Here are two websites that allow you to see a picture of the pill and learn its identitiy...

    www.drugid.info  &  www.rxlist.com/pill-identification-tool/...

Good luck--I'll be sending some good thoughts your way!

  15. I think that's vallium.  Try these pill identifier links:

    http://www.drugs.com/imprints.php

    http://www.healthline.com/pillfinder?utm...

If you can't identify it with those, google "pill identification" or "pill identifier" and you'll get a whole bunch of websites with all different kinds of devices for identifying pills.

  16. Probably can't be good, but just ask your wife (you are a guy, right?) first if you have one to make sure that they're not prescribed

  17. It seems harsh, but you may want to inform the police.  He may be dealing and the best way to make him understand the consequences is to have him charged.

  18. Is it Lortab?

    aka Hydrocodone http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hydrocodone

  19. Well make sure they are not Gely beans. The pink ones tasle like popcorn.

CALL Walgreens! Don't talk to your sure until you know what they are because he may lie to you.

  20. ...yeah chat with him, dont punish him! Explain to him the dangers of the drug hes doing, dont threaten him, that will just make him want them more...

but how old is your son? how does he afford those?

He aint using them all himself, maybe he is selling them, or maybe he is storing them for another drug dealer!

But you should tallk to ur son if hes hanging with drug dealers!

  21. Why were you snooping through your sons room anyways?

That could help explain why he has those.

  22. Hydrocodone?

  23. Hydrocodone

  24. I would take them to a pharmacy.  They will be able to tell you.  Does it have anything besides the V?   I know what V you're talking about.  Any numbers on it?  How big is the pill?

I tried to put in some info on what you described and I'm coming up with generic Darvocet.

  25. Call your local or go to your local pharmacist, and explain the situation, they Can help you out or try this site: http://www.drugs.com/pill_identification...

  26. Viva. Energy booster/ calorie burner. Pics here: http://www.pharmer.org/node/9797

  27. Are there any numbers on one side? Sounds like Lortab which is a narcotic pain killer. More so...sounds like you need to have a serious talk with your son. I wish you good luck.

  28. Ask your son.  Talking to kids about possible drug use is not easy, but it has to be done.  If you think they are prescription meds, you can check it against the database of prescription drugs (link below), but nothing can replace a conversation.

  29. Well unless he's using V for Vick's lozenges he's using Uppers in the Paroxetine family. The fact he has 80 means he might be selling. They represent an easy 3 to 5 hundred on the market depending on where you live. So, unless he has money he owes for them. Remove the pills and take them in to a nearby Police Station. They have people qualified to know what the pills are. Then confront him with the results. If that worries you I must admit that even if the doctor tells you what they are he and you will need sound counselling before things get worse. your son might not be the only school kid involved so the Police might be needed to help others also before they get too involved.

  30. viagra ,

  31. Try this site.

Good luck to you. 80 is a lot.
