I just found one of these in my backyard next to one of my windows and was wondering what do I do now. I have three very young children and it really scares me. What is the best thing to use to get rid of these?

  1. They, like insects, breath through their abdomen. hair spray is even better. Also look around for webs that don't seem to have a regular symmetric structure. If you sweep them away on a regular basis, they will starve to death in the time it takes to build a new one and inhibit their propagation/proliferation.

  2. a shoe, but if you don't want to get that close use windex of any other cleaner spray (if you don't have bug killer). It'll be dead in a minute. The reason for this is that they have a external circulatory system meaning they basically breath through they're skin so that bombardment of chemicals will do him in quick. This also works very good on ants and some flying bugs.
