  1. Probably a fledgling learning to fly if the parents are around. They are probably very angry with youuuuu. It's probably exhausted. When this happened at my house, my dad just put the fledgling on the fence, we didn't see it since. My dad is a wildlife biologist so I think he would know...haha

  2. can it eat on its own? if it cant make a nest by putting a sock in a bowl and then put the bowl in a fairly big box and make sure ut stays in nest and feed it soggy dog food evry time it starts chirping.

  3. They will probably not, but you can contact fish and game or the audubon society. There are organizations who rescue wildlife birds in your area just google them and call they will no what to do.

  4. ok can you reach the nest? if you can put it back don't worry about the birds parents smelling your scent and rejecting the bird it is just a old wives tale but definitely put it back if possible

  5. i dont think the parents will help the baby bird cuz, all theyre gonna do is chirp chirp chirp!

you should try helping it. sry but i dont know how! :D

  6. If the bird is fully feathered, it is most likely a fledgling and has left the nest on it's own and it's parents are caring for it. It is normal for birds to leave the nest before they can fly.   You need to replace it where you found it..preferably in a scrub or tree so it is relatively safe from predators, and the parents should come back to feed it.  If it is unfeathered...then look for a nest and if you can find it...replace it into the nest.  Do not worry about your scent being on the chick..birds have a very poorly developed sense of smell and will NOT reject a baby that has been touched.  If you cannot find a nest, get the bird to a local wildlife rehab for it's best chance of survival.  Also, keep in mind, it is illegal for you to try and raise this bird on your own.  Look for a rehab here:

  7. i would keep the bird their for a while and watch it. if its mom doesn't come in about a day then i'd either bring it to a wildlife center or try to help it till it can fly. they say that if you touch a bird then its mother will never come back to it but that is not true. if you do decide to help it i would figure out what kind of bird it is and then feed it the appropriate food. and if its too young for regular food you can buy baby bird food from most pet stores and them switch him over to the seeds or worms or whatever it eats

  8. Alot of baby birds fall out of this palm tree and my dad just brings it to the Humainsisity
